SCHN : Paediatric Cardiology Seminar (Recordings) - July 2024
Program
Who is the course for?
Basic Physician Trainees (and interested Advanced Trainees) who are preparing to sit the Divisional Written Examination (DWE) in the Royal Australian College of Physicians.
Course overview
This course offers a comprehensive and in-depth overview of relevant theoretical and practical considerations in paediatric cardiology relevant to clinical practice, the written examination itself, and in preparation for the clinical examination.
Paediatric Cardiology can bewilder even the seasoned paediatric healthcare practitioner, and it is no surprise that trainees are often flummoxed by questions about ECG findings, Fick equations, and very bizarre cardiovascular physiology. Paediatric cardiology represents the largest of questions in the DWE, so it is paramount that trainees have a strong grasp of this content.
Participants will have an opportunity to learn from experts in the Heart Centre for Children across The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network. Short, focused lectures and plenty of multiple-choice questions are covered to ensure trainees have an understanding of both what to know, and how to approach difficult questions in paediatric cardiology.
Duration
The recorded lectures are available for viewing for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.
