AAV Gene Therapy Education Program

 

This education package is designed to increase the knowledge and confidence of SCHN staff who may be involved in delivering adeno-associated virus (AAV) gene therapy and/or caring for patients who receive AAV gene therapy.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Describe the relevance for rAAV gene therapy in treating rare diseases
  2. Identify serious adverse events associated with rAAV gene therapy
  3. Identify the practical and ethical challenges in the implementation of rAAV gene therapy
