AAV Gene Therapy Education Program
This education package is designed to increase the knowledge and confidence of SCHN staff who may be involved in delivering adeno-associated virus (AAV) gene therapy and/or caring for patients who receive AAV gene therapy.
Learning Outcomes
- Describe the relevance for rAAV gene therapy in treating rare diseases
- Identify serious adverse events associated with rAAV gene therapy
- Identify the practical and ethical challenges in the implementation of rAAV gene therapy
